While the VRDB series introduced a reinforced internal structure for the most extreme vertical payout conditions, the VR retains engineering advantages that the VRDB does not match: a higher 3.5 kV test voltage (vs. 2.5 kV for VRDB), a full −40°C dynamic operating temperature (vs. −30°C for VRDB), and a unique screened-bundle configuration for EMC-sensitive spreader applications.
